The FFC Women’s Basketball League is designed to provide a competitive women’s league in the Stark area. The League is composed of women 18 and older and is intended to provide competition in a warm and friendly fashion. During this unique time of fellowship, each participant is introduced to the claims of Christ and is encouraged to share with each other during post-game huddles how Christ is impacting their lives.

Some playing experience is preferred.

League Dates:   April 3, – June 12, 2025

Open gym:   April 3 at 7pm for all registered participants.

Game Info:  Thursdays at 7pm  (No practice days).

Devotions:  Devotions will be at 6:45pm before each game.  You may use the time to get your shoes on and stretch while you listen to coaches share some encouragement.  If you have to miss devotions, you will need to sit out the first 10 minutes of your game.  If missing devotions is unavoidable one week, contact director of league or sports ministry.

Fee:  $80.00
$20.00 jersey fee if you do not have a First Friends jersey from past years.

Refund Policy:  ($5.00 fee for all refunds) No refund will be given to any player who withdraws on or after the first week of games. An exception may be granted at the discretion of the staff due to medical reasons only. Further, no refund will be given to any player removed from the league during the course of the season for disciplinary reasons.

Registrations for Spring league is available online with a debit/credit card payment.  If you register online, please check your email account immediately after submitting the registration form and payment for a confirmation email.  If you do not receive a confirmation email, the registration was not successful.  Paper registrations will be available in the church brochure racks by Friday, March 7. Gender Policy Statement:  (Oct 12, 2017) Please note that when we list ‘boy’s/men’s’ or ‘girl’s/women’s’ we are referring to the birth gender of the participant.  For all of our leagues, classes, unless they are designated as Coed, it is our policy that players participate within the gender designation that complies with the previous statement.  We want to thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
